Proximity Switch

Inductive Proximity Switches

Inductive proximity sensors are used millions of times in almost all industrial areas. They detect without contact when an object approaches, i.e. without direct contact.

The change of the switching state takes place noiselessly, without bouncing or retroactivity, purely electronically. There are no mechanical components subject to wear, which limits the product lifetime depending on the switching cycles.

Another advantage over mechanical switching elements is the clear contact release. There is no feedback which cannot be evaluated because of slow actuation or too low switiching current.
